Thames Police are investigating an alleged home invasion and serious assault at a rural Hot Water Beach address on Sunday 16th June.

Just after midnight, the victim was awoken by people in his home shining torches in his living room. The group went outside of the house and the victim got out of bed and went out to confront them at which point he was attacked and seriously assaulted by the group. He remembers being kicked by two people and believed that he was going to die.

The victim believed there were at least three people involved and one of them had what the victim described as a “female voice”.

Following a scene examination, it was established that there was a child’s black and white panda onesie left at the scene and Police are appealing for anyone who knows anything about this item of clothing to come forward.

Thames Police would like to speak with anyone that has any information about this incident.
