Police in Counties Manukau are investigating an alleged aggravated robbery at a fast food restaurant in Pakuranga on Monday 4th March.

At about 11:10pm, three men entered the restaurant on Johns Lane. The first male, armed with a silver pipe, approached one of the victims and forced him into a corner. The second male has threatened the staff members before throwing some punches at one of the workers. The third male made his way to the till area and has ripped out one of the cash register tills, before all the males have run out the back door. The till was found dumped nearby.

The first male was described as:

  • Māori or Pacific Islander
  • Approx 184cm / 6ft
  • Skinny build
  • Black ‘adidas’ hoodie
  • Light coloured gloves
  • Carrying a silver pipe

The second male was described as:

  • Māori or Pacific Islander
  • Approx 184cm / 6ft
  • Stocky build
  • Red material over face
  • Grey “Raiders” hoodie
  • Grey trackpants
  • Dark shoes
  • Carrying a silver pipe

The third male was described as:

  • Māori or Pacific Islander
  • Red material over face
  • Dark hoodie with grey hood and front pocket and white emblem on left breast.
  • Light coloured gloves
  • Grey shorts
  • Dark socks and shoes
