Police in Counties Manukau are investigating an aggravated robbery at the Round The Clock Superette in Manurewa on Saturday 6th February.

Around 12:50am, the store clerk was having a break when an unknown male entered the store and approached the counter, he pushed his way past the store clerk who was caught off guard and held him at arm’s length. He implied that he had a concealed weapon and started to raid the cigarette cabinet. Once his bag was full, he fled the store and travelled south on Great South Road towards Alfriston Road where he was then lost from sight.

The suspected is described as:

  • Male
  • Approximately 5’10” / 177cm
  • Approximately 25 years
  • Medium to solid build
  • Wearing a black beanie, top, pants and carrying a black Nike bag

Police conducted extensive enquires and as a result have identified a vehicle that was in the area at the time and while they are not saying they are involved in the robbery in any way, Police believe the occupants could have valuable information.

Counties Manukau Police need to hear from anyone that may be able to assist them with this case.
