Ten 7 Aotearoa, Episode

8
23rd June 2022

On Sunday the 27th of February at 5:25pm a male with a claw hammer enters the store in Ranolf Street, jumps the counter, threatens the female store attendant and tells her that he is in control now. A second, larger male with a backpack joins him and takes his time checking to see if anyone else is in the store.

The two males took their time and targeted cash and cigarettes.

The first male with the claw hammer is described as having a slim build and wearing a dark top with the word “Higher” on it, dark shorts and a white t-shirt tied around his face. The second male has a large build and is wearing a grey Puma hoodie and grey track pants with a red Adidas backpack with maroon base and bare feet.

The mannerisms and movements of these two individuals will help identify them – please watch the CCTV footage available on the Ten 7 Aotearoa Facebook page and call 0800 107 INFO if you think you can help.
