Central Police and AOS are in attendance at an ongoing incident at a residential address in Upper Vogeltown, New Plymouth.
Police were called to the house shortly after 6am this morning, to reports of a dispute.
Police cordons are in place on Carrington Street, from the junction with Huatoki Street to the roundabout at Tarahua Road.
Diversions are in place but motorists and commuters are advised to avoid the area where possible.
Residents within the cordon should remain at home until contacted by Police.
