Police respond to incident in Auckland CBD

Emergency services were called to an incident on Federal Street, near Victoria Street West, in Auckland Central, shortly after 4pm today.   Police were called to a report of an altercation between two groups of people.   A man received minor injuries, from what is believed be a glass bottle, during the altercation. He has since been transported to hospital by ambulance.   Police are currently still on scene and enquiries are continuing.   Media note: A further update will be provided once more information becomes available.   ENDS   Adriana Weber/NZ Police
