Wellington Police have released the name of the vehicle driver who was killed yesterday night in a two car accident near the Grenada North exit of the Wellington motorway.
Deane WILSON, 23, of Paraparaumu died at the scene of the crash on Takapu Road.
His 27-year-old male passenger was taken to Wellington Hospital with serious injuries but has been discharged this morning.
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash and the Serious Crash Unit is continuing work at the scene.
The exact cause of the crash will not be known until their investigation is complete. The weather conditions at the time of the crash will be one of a number of factors examined as part of the investigation.
