Name released in Timaru car crushing death

Timaru Police have released the name of the man who was killed after being crushed by a vehicle he was working on last night. He was Kenneth Arthur Wood, aged 65, of Marchwiel, Timaru. He died after the motor vehicle he was working on toppled off a scissor jack, trapping him underneath. Emergency services were called to the Marchwiel address at around 10.30pm last night [Monday 10 June] but the man died at the scene. ENDS
