Aggravated Robbery - Westpac Bank, Kilbirnie Branch, Wellington

At approximately 11:20am on Friday 1 May 2009, a female entered the Kilbirnie Branch of the Westpac Bank and demanded money from a teller by presenting a note.

The female also indicated that she had a weapon concealed in her jacket pocket and she left the bank on foot with a small amount of cash.

The female was last seen walking along Onepu Road, in a northerly direction.

This afternoon the Wellington District Court issued an arrest warrant for Erin Louise BULLOCK, a 26 year old female Maori, in relation to this robbery.

Ms BULLOCK was last seen wearing a pink New York Yankees baseball cap, a dark coloured jacket and was carrying a black leather shoulder bag.

The current whereabouts of Ms BULLOCK is unknown and police also hold fears for her safety.

Anyone who has information in relation to this robbery or knows the current whereabouts of Ms BULLOCK is asked to urgently contact police on 0800 TIPOFF (0800) 847-633, or to contact their nearest Police Station.
