Manawatu Police can now release the name of the woman who died at an address in a private apartment block, in Palmerston North on the evening of 13 March, 2015.
She was Virginia Ford, aged 20 of Dunedin.
A post mortem was completed today and police have received preliminary results from this. As further charges against a 21-year-old man in relation to this investigation are likely police will not discuss the post mortem results.
The investigation is ongoing and the scene examination continued today at the property.
