National media services

The Media Services team forms part of the Public Affairs Group in the Police National Headquarters.

The section's functions include:

• Responding to requests from reporters for information;
• Providing advice on or explaining police philosophies, policies and practices to media organisations;
• Providing districts with advice on specific media issues.
