This afternoon Northland Police have arrested and charged a 30 year old man with murder following the investigation into the abduction of Tracey ROSS at Kaikohe on Thursday 12th August.
The identity of the victim has been confirmed as the occupant of 414 Te Pua Road, Robert GREEN.
The arrested man will appear in Kaikohe District court on Monday 16 August.
A post-mortem has been scheduled for this evening and further enquiries at various scenes and with the abduction victim will continue over the weekend.
Once the investigation into the abduction and sexual violation complaint is completed, further charges will be considered.
