Man Urgently Sought By Police

North Shore Police are seeking a 27 year old man who is on the run after a domestic violence incident in the suburb of Belmont early this afternoon.

Police went to an address in Belmont during lunchtime after reports that an incident had occurred inside the house.

Soon after the police arrived the man left the address and police units are searching for him.

Police say the man could be armed with a knife. If sighted he is NOT to be approached. Police appeal to the man to contact them without delay.

Anyone who sights this man or knows of his whereabouts is urged to call North Shore Police immediately on TRIPLE ONE or 477 5000. Police have released the name of the man they are seeking. An image is also provided.
