21-year-old stabbed in Napier

Napier Police are at the early stages of an investigation into a stabbing this evening. 

A 21-year-old man was sitting in his parked car on Guppy Road, by the river bank, early this evening. 

Four males approached him in his car and assaulted him, resulting in a stab wound to his shoulder. 

The injuries are not life threatening. 

Police are appealing to the public for witnesses or any information on this incident and the identity of the offenders.
