A series of investigations are currently underway following an industrial accident in Hamilton that has left a man fighting for his life in Waikato Hospital.
Police were called to an industrial yard in Melville about 7.20am today after reports a man had been run over by a tractor.
The Waikato Police District's Serious Crash and Commercial Investigation Units are investigating the crash, as are OSH inspectors.
Initial indications are the man lost control of the tractor while starting it and suffered serious head and torso injuries.
