Cash And Firearms Among Items Recovered By Police

North Shore Police discovered cash, firearms, drugs, and stolen property, when they swooped on an address in the suburb of Glenfield, at dawn this morning.

Sergeant James Watson says acting on information received, a team of ten police investigators went to the Glenfield address at about 7.00am.

Inside a house at the property, police found a large quantity of cash, two shotguns, a quantity of drugs, and over 100 items of selective stolen property.

Police estimate the value of the stolen property exceeds 150,000 dollars.

Police this afternoon arrested a 52 year old unemployed man of Glenfield.

He will appear in the North Shore District Court tomorrow on a variety of charges including possession of methamphetamine, possession of cannabis, unlawful possession of firearms, and receiving of stolen property.

Police are continuing their inquiries as a result of this morning's discovery.
