Four bodies have been located at the scene of a house fire in Puriri Street, Riccarton, Christchurch this morning but Police and fire have not completely checked the house as yet.
The fire is being treated as suspicious says Detective Senior Sergeant John RAE.
The police caravan has been set up and the scene co ordinated.
"An Inquiry has been set up as to the circumstances around the deaths of those in the house," he says.
Fire Service were called at 7.35am to the house in Puriri Street and subsequently fire officers discovered several bodies. The house has been secured by Fire Service.
