Panmure Fatality - Asian Pedestrian Named

Police have identified the Asian female pedestrian who died

after she was struck by a car in Panmure yesterday morning.

The name of the deceased Chinese National is:

XIONG/Ting Xui

Female

Age 68 years

Resident of Panmure.

The deceased's next of kin have been notified.

Police say the deceased woman died when she was hit by a

SUV vehicle near the Panmure roundabout on Jellicoe Road,

at about 10.15am yesterday morning, Thursday 12 July 2007.

The vehicle's driver has been located and has spoken with Police.

Police say there's been a number of people already come forward who have witnessed this incident, but they would still like to hear from anyone else who particularly saw the movements of the deceased Mrs XIONG, both prior to and during the fatality. Auckland SCU investigations into this incident are continuing.
