Police release deceased boy's name

Police have released the name of the boy who died when the vehicle he was a passenger in rolled into a pond at a goldmine at Ngahere on the West Coast.

He was Tayne Luca BOWES, aged 9.

His younger sister was rescued from the submerged vehicle.
