At 1017hrs today Police and emergency services are responding to a serious motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Holland Rd and Telephone Rd(SH1B), Puketaha.
There are two injured occupants from one of the cars involved. One is 'Status 1' and the other is 'Status 2.' Both are elderley.
Serious Crash Unit are in attendance.
The area around the crash scene will be closed to all traffic and diversions are in place at the following locations.
1. Puketaha Road & Telephone Road(SH1B)
2. Holland Road & Ruakura Road.
3. Marshmeadow Road(SH1B) & Vaile Road.
4. Eureka Road & SH1B.
Traffic are advised to stay away from this area and to take the follwing alternative routes.
1. If travelling to and from Hamilton to Morrinsville stay on SH26.
2. If travelling North to South to stay on SH1.
Police will update when the roads re-open.
