Serious Assault at Robbies Bar, Normans Road, Christchurch.

At about 745pm tonight Police were called to reports of persons fighting
outside the licensed premises. The altercation involved up to 4 persons.

A 29 year old man received serious head injuries, he is currently in a stable condition at Christchurch Hospital.

One man was arrested and charged with refusing to undergo the drink driving process.

Police are conducting inquiries with patrons at the bar and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the fight, or observed a Blue Nissan Navara around the area of the nearby RockSalt Bar also on Normans Road.
