Aggravated robbery inquiries lead to three arrests

Christchurch Police have arrested three men in relation to the aggravated robbery of the Brickworks Restaurant and Bar on Centaurus Road early on Sunday morning.

Detective Senior Sergeant Tony Hill says armed Police executed search warrants at three addresses simultaneously late this afternoon [Monday 7 April] in Riccarton, Barrington and Linwood.

Three men, all from Christchurch, have been arrested.

A 63-year old man and a 43-year old man will appear in court tomorrow on charges of aggravated robbery.

Another 43-year old man will appear on charges of receiving.

Detective Senior Sergeant Tony Hill says inquiries into the aggravated robbery are continuing.

Police will not be making any further comment.
