Appeal for information after Hamilton indecent assaults

Hamilton CIB are investigating two indecent assaults that occurred in the staff carpark at Waikato Hospital.

The two incidents occurred yesterday, Friday 3 August, the first one around 4pm and the second incident not long after.

The offender is described as Caucasian, approximately 16 years of age and approximately 183cm (6 foot) tall.

He was wearing a black baseball cap, light coloured long sleeved t-shirt, green pants and black gumboots.

Acting Detective Sergeant Harry Hodgson says both victims are being provided with support and Police are actively working to find the person responsible.

“While we have been working with the hospital and have reviewed CCTV footage, we are also asking the public for their assistance.

We would like to hear from anyone who was in the vicinity of Waikato Hospital yesterday between 4-6:30pm or anyone who may have information on who this young man is."
