Napier police are currently dealing with an armed incident near Maraenui in Napier.
The parties are known to each other, however members of the public nearby the cordon points have been asked to stay inside their addresses and the schools nearby have also asked all students to stay inside.
Police have cordoned the area and motorists and pedestrians are asked to avoid the Henry Charles Cres area.
