1 min read

Queenstown Police today arrested and charged a 37-year-old man with three counts of performing an indecent act intended to insult or offend.

The man is appearing in Queenstown District Court this afternoon.

He allegedly gave rides to women waiting for buses or hitchhiking into Queenstown.

“Always be cautious when hitchhiking or accepting rides from people you don’t know — consider your personal safety first,” Detective Senior Sergeant Malcolm Inglis says.
