1 min read

Please attribute to Detective Sergeant Brian Cameron:

Queenstown Police yesterday executed a search warrant at an Anderson Heights address and arrested a 29-year-old man in relation to drug related offending.

During the search police seized 10 grams of ecstasy, in both crystalline and tablet form, as well as a small amount of cannabis.

The 29-year-old has been charged with importing and supplying ecstasy and possession of ecstasy for supply.

He appeared in Invercargill District Court yesterday afternoon via video link and has been bailed without plea to next appear in Queenstown District Court on 29 January 2018.

As demonstrated by this arrest, Queenstown Police are focused on identifying and prosecuting those responsible for the harm drugs cause in our community.

We encourage anyone who may have information about drug related offending to contact their nearest Police station.

If you wish to provide information anonymously you can do so by ringing Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
