Arrest warrant issued for Whangarei methamphetamine suspect

Police are seeking the public’s help to locate Jaydean Hura who has a warrant for his arrest in relation to charges involving the manufacturing of methamphetamine.

The 35 year-old patched member of the Head Hunters gang is being sought following Operation Easter a nine month long OFCANZ led investigation which culminated in the arrest of fifteen members and associates of the Head Hunters MC gang in Northland in early December 2014.

During this investigation Detectives discovered a large scale methamphetamine manufacturing operation based in a rural location close to Whangarei.  Methamphetamine with an estimated street value of up to $2.5 million was seized during the operation.

Police believe Mr Hura is likely to be in Auckland or Northland and may be driving a silver Mazda Lantis, registration CBJ450.
