Emergency services are responding to a crash on State Highway 1, near the turn-off to Paekakariki on the Kapiti Coast.
The crash occurred at 1.10pm.
Fortunately those involved are reported to have only sustained minor to moderate injuries, however the crash is causing significant traffic delays as the northbound lane is blocked.
Police are asking motorists to please be patient and obey the directions of emergency personnel at the scene.
