A double win for NZ Warriors with stolen gear recovered

1 min read

Attributable to Detective Sergeant Dean Miles, North Shore Police:

A double-winning weekend for the NZ Warriors rugby league team.

Not only did the side rack up their fourth win of the NRL season, but their playing strip and other items stolen on March 26 have been recovered.

As a result of information received from members of the public, Police found the property located at an address on the North Shore.

Police made inquiries at the address, and recovered the property late on Friday 30 March.

A 25-year-old female was charged with receiving stolen property, and is due to appear in court this week.

We’d like to thank members of the public for coming forward with information and the great team effort which has seen the property recovered.

Inquiries are ongoing into the theft.
