Eight people facing raft of charges after major cannabis bust in Waitemata District

Eight people have been charged in relation to a major cannabis bust across the Waitemata Police District yesterday.

Officers found thousands of dollars worth of cannabis and a number of commercial growing operations during yesterday's raids.

The eight people have been charged with various  cultivation and supply charges and two have also been charged with theft of power.

The accused have all been jointly charged and the majority will appear in the North Shore District Court next Monday.

 

Details are as follows;

51 year-old male charged with 13 x supplies cannabis, offering to supply cannabis.

Will reappear on Tuesday 7 July at North Shore District Court.

 

55 year-old female charged with 3 x supplies cannabis, possession of cannabis for supply.

Will appear on Monday 22 June at North Shore District Court.

 

63 year-old male charged with cultivating cannabis, 2 x supplying cannabis, possession of cannabis for supply and theft of power.

Will appear on Monday 22 June at North Shore District Court.

 

30 year-old male charged with cultivating cannabis and supplying cannabis.

Will appear on Monday 22 June at North Shore District Court.

 

37 year-old male charged with 2 x supplying cannabis and 2 x cultivating cannabis, possession of cannabis for supply and theft of power.

Will appear on Monday 22 June at North Shore District Court.

 

36 year-old male charged with cultivating cannabis.

Will appear on Monday 22 June at North Shore District Court.

 

33 year-old female charged with 2 x supplying cannabis.

Will appear on Monday 22 June at North Shore District Court.

 

21 year-old male charged with possession of cannabis for supply.

Will appear on Tuesday 23 June at Waitakere District Court.
