Fatal crash - Rongotea Road, Manawatu

One person is dead following a crash on Rongotea Road in Manawatu at around 1am today.
 
The crash involved two cars, with a total of six occupants.
 
One person has sustained serious injuries, and the remaining four occupants are reported to have minor injuries. 
 
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating and the road remains closed at the intersection of Rongotea and Mill Road while they work at the crash scene.
