Firearms found in ammunitions box in Central Otago

Police in Central Otago are looking to identify the owner of a number of firearms found on the Roxburgh Cycle Trail in March. The firearms were stored in a military ammunitions box and partially covered on the public track.

Police would like to hear from the owner of the firearms, or from anyone who may have knowledge of who they belong to.

Anyone who has information can call the Alexandra Police Station on (03) 440 2500. Alternatively, information can be given anonymously via the organisation Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
