Further arrest following South Island methamphetamine seizure

A man has been arrested after an additional search warrant was executed at an Auckland address as part of today’s coordinated Police operation to interrupt the supply of illegal drugs in New Zealand. 

Detective Inspector Stu Graham from OFCANZ says: “The search warrant was executed by Police at a residential property in the Greenlane suburb of Auckland this morning.  A search of the property resulted in a large quantity of cash being seized along with smaller amounts of methamphetamine.  Two adults at the property have been charged with drug related offences.”

A 29 year-old man is due to appear in Auckland District Court this afternoon charged in relation to the supply of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of a restricted weapon.  A 34-year-old female has been summonsed to appear in Auckland District Court on 21 September 2015 charged with possession of methamphetamine.

Police investigations are continuing.
