Gang-related methamphetamine operation in Wellington region today

This morning Police are searching nine properties across the Wellington region for evidence of methamphetamine production and supply, and money laundering involving the Head Hunters gang.

Police have four offenders in custody.

The operation known as 'Flyer' involves over 60 police – including members of the armed offenders squad, and follows several months of investigation.

Along with evidence relating to a methamphetamine supply chain in the Wellington region, Police are also looking for cars, motorcycles and cash that have been procured through crime.
