Police are investigating after a man was found with stab wounds in Greymouth early this morning.
The man was found with critical injuries on Cowper Street around 2am and died shortly after in Greymouth Hospital.
Police are in the process of notifying next of kin therefore no information is available regarding the victim at this time.
Police are currently speaking to a person of interest and do not believe there is any risk to the public.
No charges have been laid at this time.
