Hawke's Bay Police reminder about leaving valuables in cars

1 min read

Hawke’s Bay Police are once again reminding people not to leave any valuable property in their vehicles, especially satellite navigation devices and any other dashboard devices, as they are an easy target for thieves.

This is particularly relevant to people living in the Napier Hill and Marine Parade areas, and for people staying at motels or accommodation in the city centre.

Police ask that any suspicious activity be reported straight away.

Police would also like to hear about anyone who may be selling these devices through social media. Anyone with information can contact Hawke’s Bay Police on 06 8310700 or via Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
