Waitemata Police and other emergencies services are currently at the scene of a helicopter crash in Duck Creek Road, Stillwater, Rodney.
The helicopter has crashed onto farmland some distance from the road. Westpac Rescue Helicopter has landed and assessed the injuries of the Pilot and sole passenger. One person has been taken to North Shore Hospital with moderate injuries, the other person is being treated at the scene.
The cause of the crash, and subsequent damage to the craft, is unknown.
Police will secure the scene pending an investigation from the Civil Aviation Authority.
