Hit and run driver information wanted

Counties Manukau Police are investigating a serious hit and run crash involving a car and a pedestrian that occurred on Aviemore Drive, Highland Park, near the intersection with Bradbury Road at 9pm on Friday, December 4. A female was crossing the road whilst pushing her bicycle when she was struck by a vehicle that immediately left the scene.
The victim is in a serious condition in Middlemore Hospital. Witnesses have described the offending vehicle as being a white 4x4 or similar. The Serious Crash Investigation Unit is keen to speak to anyone who has information relating to this crash. Please call Constable Graham Mako on 09 215 4828.
