Police are currently in attendance with fire service at an incident in the northbound lane of SH1 at the Mungavin overbridge at about 8.15am this morning.
A man is in a crticial condition and police are investigating at the scene.
Traffic will be delayed for some time heading northbound out of Wellington and diversions will be put in place.
