Police and emergency services are responding to a truck vs pedestrian crash near Rebel Sport on Queens Drive, Lower Hutt.
The pedestrian has been taken to hospital with serious injuries. At this stage it is not thought their injuries are life threatening.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating the crash.
This crash is causing significant traffic delays and Police ask motorists to avoid the area or delay travel if possible.
