Shane Teddy has a warrant for his arrest.

Police are continuing to look for a 49-year-old man who was the subject of an Armed Offenders callout in Napier yesterday.

Shane Teddy has a warrant for his arrest.  Police have today searched several properties in Hawke’s Bay looking for him, but he remains outstanding.

Police were called to Teddy’s Onekawa house in Hislop Ave yesterday afternoon after reports of a domestic incident there.  Police believe Teddy had earlier presented a firearm at his partner and had barricaded himself inside the house and refused to come out.

There was no response to loud hailer appeals and police fired teargas into the house.  Teddy was not in the house and has been eluding police since yesterday.  He is known to police.

Two firearms were found in a house next door.

Police are appealing to anyone who has seen Teddy to contact them immediately on 111.  It is unknown if he is armed.
