Media Advisory: Police dog graduation tomorrow

Tomorrow (Thursday, 20 November) seven police dog handlers and three AOS dog handlers, with dogs, will graduate from the New Zealand Police Dog Training Centre at 2.00pm.

The graduation will be the first for the Minister of Police, the Hon. Michael Woodhouse, who will be accompanied by Police Commissioner Mike Bush, Deputy Commissioner Glenn Dunbier and the Mayor of Upper Hutt, Mr Wayne Guppy.

Superintendent John Price (National Manager Training and Development) and Superintendent Barry Taylor (National Manger Response and Operations), along with Inspectors Brendon Gibson and Brett Amas from The Royal New Zealand Police College will also be attending.

MEDIA NOTE: There will be a photo opportunity with the Minister of Police, the Hon. Michael Woodhouse, Commissioner Mike Bush and the latest litter of police puppies.
