Attribute to Detective Senior Sergeant Jason McIntosh, Tāmaki Makaurau Serious Crash Unit:
Police can now advise the name of the person who died following a crash on Falls Road, Warkworth on Friday 2 February.
He was 22-year-old Ben Scott Petrie who had been living in Warkworth in recent months but was from Avonhead, Christchurch.
Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this difficult time.
The crash is still under investigation by the Tāmaki Makaurau Serious Crash Unit, and Police is unable to comment further while the investigation continues.
