Name release - Queenstown rafting incident

Police can now release the name of the man who died following a rafting incident in Queenstown on Saturday 19 May.

He was 31-year-old Joshua Paroci of New South Wales, Australia.

Police offer their condolences to Mr Paroci’s family and friends at this difficult time.

Police continue to make inquiries on behalf of the Coroner, with the assistance of Maritime NZ which is conducting its own investigation into what happened.
