Name release, Serious crash, Tirau

Police can now name the pedestrian who died following a serious crash on SH1 in Pairere, Tirau on Saturday 12 March.

He was Teacher Henry Heretama, 42, of Huntly.

Police extend our condolences to his friends and whānau.

An investigation into the circumstances of the crash is ongoing.

Police would like to thank those who have already come forward with information in relation to the crash.

We continue to appeal for further information and are interested in making contact with motorists who were in the area around 8:30pm.
