Nelson Police investigate second Buxton Square Carpark assault

Police are investigating a second assault outside the public toilets in the Buxton Square Carpark in the early hours of Sunday 21 October.
 
At around 1am, a 20-year-old woman leaving the toilets was confronted by an unknown female, thrown to the ground and knocked unconscious.
 
When the victim came to, she was helped by two unknown females, and then got into a white car outside the toilet block.
 
The female who assaulted the victim, along with around six other females, surrounded the car and hit it, until it was able to drive away.
 
Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident, or anyone who has information which could assist our investigation.
