Operation Wood: Police appeal for sightings of vehicle or jacket

Hutt Valley Police investigating the killing of a 55 year old woman and the wounding of two others in Timberlea on Thursday 11 December are appealing for sightings of a vehicle and are wanting to locate a jacket.

The vehicle is a 1999 silver Subaru Legacy sedan, registration BTF858, which investigators are seeking sightings of between 5.00pm and 9.00pm on Thursday 11 December. The jacket is a black Kathmandu puffer style jacket which may have been discarded in the Blueberry Grove and Norana Road area in Timberlea.

Detective Inspector Darrin Thomson "We are making excellent progress piecing together the events leading up this tragic event and I want to thank all those that have come forward so far to provide information."
