Otago University Threat - Update

Dunedin Police are continuing their investigation into the threat made against the University of Otago. Staff are following a number of lines of inquiry, and police are working to verify the authenticity and source of the post.

Police staff will be maintaining a visible presence in the University area as well as a number of contigencies which will remain in place. 

Police continue to remind those on the university grounds to remain vigilant and alert, and to report any suspicious activity to police.

Police are also continuing to work with the Vice-Chancellor and the University of Otago administration in relation to this.
