Police appeal for sightings of stolen van in Christchurch

Canterbury Police are appealing for the public’s help in locating a gold coloured Nissan Largo van, registration CPB29, that was stolen from the Papanui area of Christchurch overnight. 

Detective Senior Sergeant Scott Anderson says "The van was reported as being stolen from a residential driveway at approximately 1.40am this morning (22 July 2015).  Shortly after 2am the same vehicle is understood to have rammed the Kwik Kiwi Diner in Hornby and around an hour later was seen reversing into the glass doors of the Mobil petrol station in St Martins.”

“Police understand that up to three males may have been involved in these incidents.  Various items have allegedly been taken during the burglaries including a large quantity of cigarettes” explained Detective Senior Sergeant Anderson.

Canterbury Police investigations into these incidents are ongoing.
