Police appeal for witnesses

Christchurch Police are appealing for any witnesses to an incident involving a car and a cyclist on Fitzgerald Ave between approximately 7am and 7.30am on Wednesday 15 October 2014.

The incident is believed to have started with a verbal confrontation which is then alleged to have resulted in a car and bike colliding and a physical confrontation.

Police have spoken to both parties and investigations into the incident are ongoing.

Police ask anyone who may have any information relating to the incident to contact Christchurch Police on 03 363 7400.
